7 day snippets of curiosities

Trying New Things.

Curiosity, self hacking, experimentation. Most of us (especially us in STEM fields) tend to be naturally curious people. Many of us are interested in trying new things, seeing the effects of certain actions on things, and in general exploring this incredible world we all call home.

I fall heavily into this category too – I’ve delved in things from brewing my own ginger beer to kombucha, growing mushrooms (food kind not magical kind), experimenting with all sorts of diets (I’m looking at you keto, vegan, paleo, etc…), to pushing my physical limits to see where that boundary is.

Much to the groanings of the rest of my family sometimes, this list is a very small subset into the various things I’ve experimented and just be curious about.

The things is? I’ve never written/tracked these things down, so many of my adventures over the years have been replaced by other crazy memories and mishaps.

This blog is nothing more than a recording of said experimentation and provides just a little more structure to my curiosity.

Every 7 days, I’ll be picking some kind of curiosity and trying it for 7 days. At the end, I’ll recap and document the adventure.

Enjoy. 🙂
